Print file check for stand-up pouches & flat pouches
Dieline
Contour that defines the final format of the ordered bag.
Bottom gusset
Lines that define the subsequent fold lines of stand up pouches.
Seal zones
The area outside the yellow lines is the sealing area of the bag. No text or other important elements should be placed in this area.
In digital printing, slight colour changes may occur in the sealing area, especially on paper surfaces, due to the heat generated during sealing.
Bleed
Background elements should be placed 2 mm beyond the die cut to avoid flashes.
Zipper
Position of the zip. No important elements (e.g. text) should be placed in this area.

Printing data instructions for stand-up pouches & Flat Pouches
Convert or embed fonts
Convert all fonts used to paths or embed them completely in the document. This ensures that the font is displayed correctly.
CMYK colour space
Create your print data exclusively in the CMYK colour space. RGB colours are not suitable for printing.
Simulation of Pantone
Pantone colours cannot be printed directly in digital printing and are simulated using CMYK as standard. However, Pantone colours are available on request.
Image resolution
The resolution of embedded images should be at least 300 dpi.
Font size
The size of your fonts should be at least 6 pt.
Line thickness
The line thickness in your print data should be at least 0.2 mm.
Black as 100% K
Black design elements (e.g. fonts, lines, areas, barcodes and QR codes) can be printed in four colours on request. However, for good legibility and lower ink coverage, we always recommend 100% K (0C / 0M / 0Y / 100K).
Safety distance
Maintain a safety margin of at least 3.0 mm on all sides from the die-cut contour and the bottom fold, as slight variations may occur during processing.
PDF/X-4:2010 format
Speichere deine Druckdaten als PDF im Format PDF/X-4:2010 ab.
Edge trimming / bleed
Lege deine Druckdaten mit einem Randbeschnitt von 2,0 mm an.
Apply opaque white
The application of opaque white is only necessary for transparent and metallised bags. To do this, duplicate the desired element and arrange it in the background. Create this as a spot colour with the name ‘HPI-White’ (20% cyan) and set the upper element to ‘Overprint’.
Colour application
The total ink coverage should not exceed 300%.
