Euro slot hangers are cardboard hangers with standardized punched holes. The recess in the form of a slot is used to hang a carton, pouch or other packaging for product presentation. They fit exactly on the standardized Euro hooks, which are widely used in European retail. Uniform dimensions therefore ensure that goods are subject to the same conditions everywhere in Europe with regard to product presentation and that manufacturers can have the packaging for their products produced in a standardized manner and in large quantities. EXAMPLES OF USE

Due to the many possible combinations, hangers with Euro perforations are used for products from very different industries. Thanks to the standardized perforation, various packages fit on all standardized hangers.

The simplest form is the so-called visible packaging, also known as blister. The product is attached to the carton with a plastic film molding. Foil and cardboard are either glued, welded or clamped. This allows the consumer to get an accurate impression of the product without breaking the seal. Examples are:

While blister packaging is particularly suitable for goods that are to be presented immediately, folding cartons also protect the product from UV exposure. This means that the right material is available for every application and product combination. At packaging warehouse you can choose from seven high-quality and customizable materials:

  • Chromo cardboard (GC1)
  • Cellulose cardboard (GZ)
  • Recycled cardboard (GD2)
  • Grass cardboard
  • Natural cardboard brown
  • Natural cardboard black
Our environment is important to us. Sustainability is not a buzzword for us, but an expression of our responsibility. Towards society and nature. Therefore, all our materials come from sustainable forestry and are recyclable and compostable. This means that our packaging generates a much smaller carbon footprint.

THE RIGHT MATERIAL FOR YOUR EURO SLOT HANGERS

Chromo cardboard

The material belongs to the class of "coated papers". These are papers whose surface is coated with a binder, the so-called "coating". This gives the cardboard a closed, smooth and stable surface. This has a positive effect on stability, but also on detail reproduction and the general quality of the print.
  • Our chromo cardboard packaging is available in grammages of 280 g/m2 (GC2 model) or 325 g/m2 (GC1 model). Both models have a thickness of 0.52 mm. If the material is to be particularly resistant to tearing and bending, we recommend the GC1 variant with the higher grammage.
  • The front of both models is white and smooth. The back of the GC2 model is natural color, and the back of the GC1 model is white. The backs are slightly roughened.

Cellulose cardboard

The pulp for our cardboard comes exclusively from sustainable forestry. With a high grammage of 450 g/m2, this material offers particularly high tear and bending strength. Both the front and back sides are bright white and smooth.

Recycled cardboard

These boxes are made of 99 percent recycled fiber and, at 0.59 mm, have the greatest material thickness within our Euro slot hanger range. With a grammage of 400 g/m2, they are also very tear and bend resistant and therefore particularly flexible. The front side is white and smooth, the back side white and roughened.
Grass cardboard

Not only is grass a very rapidly renewable resource, it can also be planted almost anywhere. This reduces emissions and overall energy and water consumption. In addition, the production of grass fibers dispenses entirely with chemical additives.
  • Our grass cardboard has a grammage of 325 g/m2 and a thickness of 0.52 mm and are therefore also very tear and bend resistant.
  • The front and the back is slightly roughened.

Natural cardboard

Our natural cartons are made of 50% recycled fibers and are also very robust with a grammage of 350 g/m2. The front of both models is smooth, the back slightly roughened.
  • The brown variant is unbleached and has a thickness of 0.56 mm.
  • The black model is uncoated and unbleached and has a thickness of 0.46 mm.





PRACTICAL FEATURES FOR EURO SLOT HANGERS

PROTECTIVE COATING: The application of a protective coating protects the printed image from dirt, liquid, scratches or other external influences. The protective coating also creates an even more eye-catching print image - in a matte or glossy look. The packaging can still be labeled and printed.

PROTECTIVE LAMINATE: Your product packaging is even better protected against dirt, moisture, or bending by sealing it with a transparent protective foil. In contrast to protective varnish, labels can be removed more easily.

TWO SELECTABLE HOLE HEIGHTS: Depending on how your packaging is designed, you can choose between two hole heights, either 5mm or 10mm below the top edge. You can easily select and apply all these options in the configurator.

TWO SELECTABLE PUNCHING METHODS: While the laser punching process is particularly suitable for smaller quantities, the conventional punching method is perfect for medium to large quantities. Best of all, you won't have to pay for the die-cutting tools made especially for your needs when you place your next order, because they will be available to you free of charge in the future. Visual differences are not visible from the outside.


FREE FORMATS FOR INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENTS

The Euro slot hangers are only available in free formats. This makes them the individual solution for your products. We manufacture them in the following sizes:
  • Length: 50 to 500 mm
  • Height: 30 to 500 mm
