The B-flute is a type of flute from the fine flute category. Like all corrugated cardboard, it consists of a stable composite of two smooth outer layers (liners) and a corrugated paper layer (flute) in the middle. The corrugation height and corrugation pitch are decisive for the properties: For B-flute, typical values are 2.2–3.1 mm corrugation height and 4.8–6.5 mm corrugation pitch.

What is B-flute suitable for?
B-flute is a very common choice of material for shipping boxes and product packaging in the medium-weight product range. With even weight distribution, it offers a load capacity of up to 14 kilograms. For higher loads, double flutes such as EB flute are used.
