The E-flute is a type of flute from the category of microflutes and consists of two smooth outer layers (liners) and a corrugated paper layer (flute) in the middle. The corrugation height and corrugation pitch are decisive for the properties of E-flute. Typical values for E-flute are 1.0–1.9 mm for the corrugation height and 2.6–3.5 mm for the corrugation pitch.

What is the E-flute suitable for?
E-flute is very often used when excellent printability and lower material thickness and stability are required. With even weight distribution, E-flute offers a load capacity of up to 7 kilograms. E-flute is therefore mainly used for product packaging such as folding boxes, inlays, or mailer cartons.
